Tinytots MiniSports: A multi-sport experience that introduces preschoolers to Soccer, Basketball, Rugby, and Athletics. Most schools rotate sports every term, though some—as agreed with the principal—may rotate within the term for added variety and engagement.

Taekwondo

Brought to you by Athletic United Taekwondo

Empower your child through the art of Taekwondo — a martial art that goes beyond kicks and punches to build character, focus, and resilience. Under the expert guidance of Athletic United Taekwondo instructors, children develop both the mind and body, learning valuable life skills in a fun and structured environment.

Through engaging drills and progressive techniques, children improve:

  • Physical fitness and coordination
  • Focus and self-discipline
  • Confidence and self-defense skills
  • Respect, teamwork, and perseverance

More than just a martial art, Taekwondo teaches children to set goals, overcome challenges, and celebrate achievements — shaping them into confident, respectful, and determined individuals.

Students will be able to play a basic game of chess upon completion of this module.

Gymnastics

Brought to you by Karpenko Gymnastics Academy

KGA specialises in recreational and competitive gymnastics for boys and girls. We have a very simple philosophy when it comes to the sport, make the children fall in love with it in a fun filled yet structured environment and they will want to come back and push themselves to new heights.

Gymnastics is a foundational sport allowing kids at a young age develop the fundamental elements of movement which are needed for all sports and activities. Running, jumping, stretching, strength, balance and co-ordination are all developed in a fun but structured programme.

A typical class will include:

  • Warm-up exercises to ensure they are ready to exert themselves later in class
  • Stretching the large muscle groups to promote flexibility and strong muscles i.e working towards and full split
  • Acrobatic techniques for completing the bridge, cartwheels and handstand
  • Ball and Rope activities are introduced to develop coordination and agility. We start with basic movements and skills like bouncing, balancing, catching and skipping often through games to make it fun.
